The actress, once featured as a cover star for Vogue magazine, lives today at Beverly Hills along with Samantha and Olivia. Ann Turkel still struggles to deal with the divorce she received of Richard Harris, even though they only dated for eight years. Turkel was raised in Manhattan and is from an ethnically Jewish middle-class family, studied at both the Neighborhood Playhouse as well as the American Musical and Dramatic Academy when she was 16. It was while performing with her group at a fashion show when Ann was discovered through Gloria Schiff an editor at Vogue Magazine. Within a few days, the editor-in-chief Diana Vreeland had Ann shoot her very first Vogue cover alongside photographer Richard Avedon. In the following weeks, Ann gained a reputation as one of most sought-after models throughout America, appearing on the pages of the top fashion magazines, including Vogue Bazaar and Cosmopolitan among other magazines. Ann started her modeling career in Europe and Japan to Max Factor Revlon as well as Chanel after two successful years.
